See You Tomorrow
Tomorrow is RALLY DAY! We hope you will come.
This rally is a chance to make it crystal clear to our Legislature that public education is our #1 priority and that the way it is funded can make or break our children's future. Get more information here.
Drivers, please drop off passengers on the south side of the Capitol (Mississippi Street). Free parking is available at the State Fairgrounds, where shuttles will be provided from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to transport drivers to the Capitol for the rally and back to the Fairgrounds following the event. Today, the House and Senate leadership announced that they plan to adjourn for the weekend tomorrow; they will convene at 9:00 a.m. and are likely to wrap up their business fairly quickly. If you want to be sure to see your legislators tomorrow, please contact them today, invite them to attend the rally, and make arrangements to meet with them either before or after the rally press conference. Speakers will begin their remarks at 11:00 a.m. in the second floor rotunda of the Capitol. The press conference is expected to last about 30 minutes.

Due to construction, there is only one entrance to the Capitol, so please allow yourself plenty of time to park and enter the building. Volunteers will be on hand to assist you. If you would like to watch the House and Senate in action, you will need to be inside the Capitol by 9:00 a.m.
The focus of tomorrow's rally is to ask that broad public input be included in any effort to rewrite our education funding law. While you are visiting with your legislators, we encourage you to also ask that they vote NO on vouchers and to express your views on other issues important to our public schools.
Rally organizers have put a lot of work into planning a great day for us. We'll be there tomorrow to stand up for our children and their public schools. We hope you will, too!
